I’ve worked as an English Instructor, Tutor, and Reading Coach for almost 10 years now!
It’s hard to believe it, but I’ve helped teach more than 1000 students over the years!
My style of education is child-centered, interest-led learning with a heavy dose of fun!
I believe in focusing on a child’s strengths and not their weaknesses.
I work to build a relationship with each child I teach, and to make them feel brilliant and loved.

Ages 11+
Young Detectives, we need your help! Join us for weekly reading, challenges, and quizzes to test your detective skills. Will you be able to help solve the case? Calling all young geniuses!
You’ve got some exciting ideas brewing in your brain, and we want to help you bring them to life. Join us as we future and foster passionate creativity in young learners.
Each week students will gain inspiration from inventors and innovators as well as guidance in developing their own passion project. Our instructors will serve as guides, resources, and sounding boards for each student. Students will also have the opportunity to partner up and collaborate virtually.

There are so many words in the English Language. Some estimate that the vocabulary of English includes roughly 1 million words! How can we possibly learn them all?
With the right skills and training, you can become a Word Detective! We'll explore word parts, synonyms, antonyms, prefixes, suffixes, and root words to help students become reading masters!
